@Kingoftheunknown100 Surely they didn't only do it for the "payday". Moonlight Densetsu was their debut, right? It made them famous. So it doesn't make sense if they were only in it for money to disband right after the song that made them recognisable. They could have made a lot more afterwards if they'd stayed together, ridden on the wave of Sailor Moon. Haha that sounds funny 🙂

… If you're complaining about skirt length… Have you not seen how short the skirts are of the sailor scouts? (and i'm not saying this as an insult to sailor moon I love sailor moon)
I know it's not the same. I have watched sailor moon before. :L but saying about skirt length ruining it just dosen't make sense because the sailor scouts skirts are even shorter than this… I don't exacly like the cover of this song and she is trying way to hard to be cute/sexy but it is kind of silly to say that seeing as the skirt she is wearing is longer than all of their skirts. :/ (and again no i'm not hating on sailor moon)
I respect your opinion but if you've watched all the sailor moon episodes there is nudity and there were quite a few 'panty' shots aswell and violence (in the uncut version anyway)the manga was no diffrent! full on nudity in the last episode (infact Usagi got pregnant in the manga if I remember correctly and you got to see the after math of her and Mamoru laying in bed together) so if a 'panty shot' ruin sailor moons opening well thats up to you but it dosen't really make much sense to me.

To people wondering what's going on here, she's a gravure model (and actress) who's famous for her butt — her nickname is Oshirina (oshiri = butt). Gravure isn't porn, but it's cheesecake (intended to be sexually appealing). The entire point of this is to show off her butt. 😛 So that's why the singing is meh and why she's wearing that skirt. Whether it's in good taste or not is debatable, but she's not trying to be an amazing singer or cosplay Sailor Moon accurately. It also doesn't "ruin" Sailor Moon… this has no effect on how good the original is. xD
