Gokai Pink (Yui Koike) Tribute

Today marks Gokaiger’s 10th anniversary. I was a lifelong Power Rangers fan back then. I only learned about Super Sentai through a Youtube video showing the roll calls for the 25th anniversary.
Conveniently that was around the time Goseiger was wrapping up and news about a team that can change into old teams was spreading.
I along with surely many others patiently waited for this exciting new series.
I still remember the day I got my hands on the subbed first episode. I was mesmerized and at the same time, I knew I would be hooked.
I even showed it off to my friends at school.

Without Gokaiger, I doubt I would be half the fan I am today. (Maybe that’s actually a good thing lol?)

I loved Gokai Pink from the moment I saw her on the poster. I love her heart shaped helmet. I love her princess body language.
Gokaiger being my first sentai, seeing the way she stands taught me how female heroes are supposed to stand.
Mizuho Nogawa does such a fantastic job suit acting it’s a shame she no longer plays a ranger these days. Ayuumi does a good job though.
Yui Koike is a beautiful actress and I hope she and the rest of the cast returns one more time someday.
