Lyrics:
Who’s that girl?
Who’s that girl?

When you see her, say a prayer
And kiss your heart goodbye
She’s trouble, in a word get closer to the fire
Run faster, her laughter burns you up inside
You’re spinning ’round and ’round
You can’t get up, you try but you can’t

¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)

You try to avoid her, fate is in your hands
She’s smiling, an invitation to the dance
Her heart is on the street, tu corazón es suyo
Now you’re falling at her feet
You try to get away but you can’t

¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)

Light up my life, so blind I can’t see
Light up my life, no one can help me now
Run faster, her laughter burns you up inside
You’re spinning ’round and ’round
You can’t get up, you try but you can’t

¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)

Light up my life, so blind I can’t see
Light up my life, no one can help me now
Who’s that girl?
Now, who’s that girl?
Now, who’s that girl?
Now, who’s that girl?

¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)
¿Quién es esa niña? (Who’s that girl?)
Señorita, más fina (Who’s that girl?)

  1. I love that Madonna loved Latino music and put it into some of her songs. This is my favorite song of hers. La Isla Bonita is another one of my favorites from Madonna.
She's got her notoriety, but do people realize how versatile she was/is vocally and musically?

  2. I don't care what ANYONE says, "Who's That Girl?" was a WILDLY entertaining movie. It was VERY MUCH like the Carole Lombard screwball comedies of Hollywood's Golden era, but with an 80's edge that ONLY Madonna was capable of bringing to it. I think that and Desperately Seeking Susan were the two BEST of Madonna's 80's movies. I'm with the general consensus on Shanghai Surprise, it DID suck, VERY BADLY. However, even Sean Penn couldn't save it, and he's a PHENOMENAL actor usually. I also thought she was funny as Hortense Hathaway in Bullets Over Broadway, but that usually gets overlooked.

She ALWAYS gets underrated as an actress, but she was QUITE GOOD in both films. Body of Evidence is probably her WORST overall film performance, but it was a TERRIBLE script as well and even Willem Dafoe was bad in it; and he's usually a GREAT actor. HOWEVER, she was REALLY GOOD in Dangerous Game with Harvey Keitel later on in 1993, so it's definitely material-related. Evita has inarguably been her BEST film performance overall, DESPITE Patti LuPone saying she was terrible. She wasn't. She was REALLY GOOD as Eva Peron.

I don't mind Madonna as an actress, but yeah, when she's good, she's good, but when she's bad she SUCKS, and there's no middle ground. HOWEVER, I think that also has to do with the film itself. Swept Away was AWFUL, but then again, it's also NOT the kind of film Guy Ritchie usually makes, right? So I think that's probably WHY it sucked. I DO give Madonna some credit as a Director though: Filth & Wisdom & W/E were both fairly good.

  3. Great songs, great era! She was such a huge part of my childhood and youth, such an impact, apart from MJ and George Michael. I share opinions that she'sand will be an icon, i don't mind whatever cosmetic surgery she had! She always provoked.
From her 80s works i also love 'Live to tell'

  4. Madonna ciccone is either an underage rape victim or she is impersonating one and since she cannot act I have to assume her life is similar to Anne kinder turner brunelkes. As a 4 year old rape victim myself I wish she would come forward and lose face but I will not hold my breath. I am returning my tickets since her sacrifice is little and means nothing. Her silence steals life from the rest of us.
