Thank you for sharing. In my opinion, Federer-Nalbandian Masters Cup 2005 Final is the best match of the past 20 years. Next, I would place Federer-Djokovic Wimbledon 2019 Final or Federer vs Nadal AO 2017 Final, and then this match. Federer should not have lost the 2nd set here, not when he was a break up, and not by getting broken twice. Otherwise, I would go with Sampras-Agassi matches, like AO 2000 SF and US Open 2001 QF.

ナダルが自伝でこの試合について語っていたが、特に面白かったのが第4セットタイブレークに関する話。
5-2リードからのダブルフォルトは、勝利の不安でサーブを打つ前から結果が見えていたとのこと。
5-3で迎えたサーブは、先程のダブルフォルトを恐れて1stを入れにいったが、あれは1stの仮面を被っただけの2ndサーブだったそうです。案の定フェデラーに深いリターンを打たれ主導権を握られたと。

正直、サーフェスの低速化が進んでなければもっとフェデラーの優勝回数は増えてたと思うわ
10年代はあまりにも低速化しすぎて、フェデラーに不利な時代が続きすぎた
