” Yagyu Abare Tabi ” is a Japanese TV historical drama . Starring : Shinichi Chiba and Hiroshi Katsuno. This is the first work in the ” Yagyu Abare Tabi Series “. All 26 episodes were broadcast on TV from October 14, 1980 to April 7, 1981 every Tuesday from 21:00 to 21:54.
In this show, which I just started watching recently, Mr. Sanada plays Matahei, a young man of mysterious origins who appears throughout the season, searching to find out about his family. His story is a significant tie-in to the climax of the story [from what I have read]. In the interest of full disclosure, I have not yet finished watching this season, and have seen episodes 1-16 out of 26.
