2023年12月、英国マンチェスターを舞台に繰り広げられた〈シャネル〉の2023/24年メティエダール コレクション。そのショーナイトに、妹の安藤サクラとともに現地を訪れた安藤桃子監督が、GINZAのためにショートフィルムを制作。安藤サクラを主人公に、滞在期間中に撮影したオリジナル作品『22』が完成した。
イギリスという監督にとっても思い出の深い地での開催、そしてガブリエル・シャネル同様に、女性の心と身体を自由にするファッションを生み出したアーティスティック ディレクターのヴィルジニー・ヴィアールへの深い共感。さらには、〈シャネル〉という家族の思い出にもつながる縁あるブランドのショー。桃子監督が「記憶が逆再生された」と語る今回のジャーニーを、ひとつの作品として形にしたいという想いからショートフィルムがつくられた。
