I watched the original when it premiered on TV long ago. It was incredible! I'd always loved Japan but that series pushed me to coming here. I learned some of my first Japanese from that movie. ワタクシハ サムライデス and スムイ 。 Neither worked in real life as well as they did in the movie. 😅
Can't wait to find the time to watch this new one. I love Hiroyuki but nowhere near as much as I loved Toshiro Mifune, so… I'm a little worried about being disappointed.

真田さんは本当に賢い。 やろうと思えば他の英語が得意な日本人俳優同様ペラペラとジェスチャーも交えネイティブぽく話せるのに、わざとそれをせず、落ち着いて喋る。欧米人が描く日本人のイメージを大切にしてる。だがら真田さんはハリウッドでいつも引っ張り凧。

アメリカ人と日本人によるカリフォルニア州の再開発を実現するべきだと思いました。確かに、ニセコを国際都市にすることで、「疑似的な留学体験」や「日本食文化の配信」ができると思いますが、カリフォルニア州に日本語街があることを考えると、カリフォルニア州を再開発することは、「ポリコレ文化の粉砕（言論弾圧者の解体）」や「映画やドラマの復活（言論の自由の復活）」に繋がると思いました。
できれば、かつ丼やオムライス、カレーライス、唐揚げ、焼肉、すき焼き、ラーメン、焼き餃子など、アメリカ人の日常食になる位浸透して欲しいと思います。
これからも英語の解説をよろしくお願いいたします。
本日、アカデミー賞で日本の作品が受賞することが出来ましたが、この作品は製作こそ日本のモノではありませんが、日本・日本人を表現した作品としてドラマのアカデミー賞と言われる「エミー賞」を受賞できたら嬉しいですね。
