This song was produced by Haruomi Hosono of YMO and shares a big similarity to the Tony Mansfield produced New Musik song “Here Come the People”. Tony Mansfield appeared on fellow YMO member Yukihiro Takahashi’s album “neuromantic” one year earlier and also again in 1982 on “What Me Worry?”, which could explain the influence Tony Mansfield had on YMO.

Just wondering how you folks found this song. I grew up in Tokyo, having been a huge fan of Hosono-san since 70s, but totally forgot this one for years and years.
Neither she nor her tunes were being mentioned by anyone back then
